A very warm welcome to you
Jesus noticed people others overlooked. He listened, loved, restored dignity, brought healing and gave hope. He is still alive, the risen Saviour of the world. He is close to the broken-hearted and to those who feel crushed by life. You do not need to have everything together, and you do not need to find the right words. You can simply call out to Him.
A church centred around Jesus
We have found Jesus to be the source of life, hope and healing, so we seek to centre everything on Him and follow the leading of the Spirit. We gather in Coventry and Leamington to learn, pray, support one another and share life. We do not have everything figured out, but we know Someone who does. Alongside our Sunday meetings and midweek gatherings, we offer three free online tracks to make connection and support as accessible as possible. They are open to everyone. You are welcome to join, listen and see whether they are right for you.
Welcome as you are
You do not need to be a Christian, know the Bible or find the right words before coming near. You can come honestly, listen quietly and decide your next step in your own time.
Grounded in grace
We want to keep the big things big: the love of God, the centrality of Jesus, the work of the Holy Spirit and the call to love one another well.
Safe and compassionate
We are committed to a respectful, trauma-informed culture where support is offered with humility, wisdom and clear boundaries.
Three ways to connect and explore
These online tracks are designed to make support and connection more accessible. You are free to join, listen and see whether they are right for you.
1. Taking a Look at Christianity — TLC
Perhaps you are curious about Jesus but unsure what you believe. What if He really is alive? What if the Christian message is true? What might that mean for your life?
TLC is a relaxed and honest space to explore who Jesus is, discover what Christianity is really about and ask the questions that matter to you. There is no pressure and no assumption that you already believe. Just room to think, listen, ask and talk at your own pace.
2. Care and Connection Wellbeing Workshop
Life can sometimes leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected or constantly on alert. In this gentle and practical workshop, we explore how our nervous systems respond to stress and why we may struggle with anxiety, sleep or fight, flight, freeze and fawn responses.
We also look at self-compassion, boundaries, codependency, communication and healthier ways of managing conflict. There is no fixing, no judgement, no pressure and no diagnosing. We do not share trauma information, and you are always free to participate in the way that feels safest for you.
This workshop contains no Christian teaching and is open to people of any faith or none. It offers wellbeing coaching and education rather than therapy, and is not a replacement for professional mental-health support.
3. Parenting Workshop
Parenting can be full of love and joy, but it can also feel exhausting, confusing and overwhelming. This workshop offers encouragement, practical tools and a supportive space for parents and carers of children of any age.
There is no expectation to be a perfect parent. We learn together, support one another and explore approaches that can help family life feel safer, calmer and more connected. You do not have to face the challenges of parenting alone.
How it works
The sessions are usually in the evenings from 7.30 to 8.30pm. The Care and Connection Wellbeing track has an optional additional 30 minutes for those who would like more time to share.
Drop us an email at rockchurchcoventry@gmail.com stating which track you would like information on. We will send you details about the sessions and a Zoom link, which is for one person only. Groups have a maximum of 8 spaces and participants must be over 18 years old.
Support with clarity and integrity
We are a trauma-informed church, and our Care and Connection sessions are facilitated by trained coaches rather than therapists. Our aim is to create respectful, supportive spaces where participants can learn, reflect and grow.
We offer neuroeducational information to help people better understand what they may be experiencing, alongside simple practical tools such as grounding, mindfulness and gentle body-based awareness. Together, we may explore areas such as emotions, values, shame triggers, boundaries, codependency, enmeshment and unhealthy relational patterns.
Our hope is that greater understanding can lead to self-compassion, curiosity and the courage to practise new ways of caring for and connecting with ourselves and others in healthier ways. These sessions are not therapy and are not a replacement for professional mental-health support.
British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
Therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, processing trauma and healing emotional wounds. In contrast, coaching is an action-oriented process designed to help mentally healthy individuals achieve specific personal or professional goals, improve performance and maximise their potential.
Please note: we want to support participants with care, wisdom and integrity. As we only work within the scope of our training, we may signpost you to appropriate professional services where additional or specialist support would be helpful.
We would love to hear from you
